Louise Schliessman
Louise has worked in interior design for more than twenty years. She loves the challenge of organizing and designing home and office interiors while working
with clients to make their visions a reality. 3rd Sister Design started with her three daughters and officially opened its doors in August of 2004.
Louise completed an advanced design program at the Heritage School of Interior Design in Beaverton, Oregon. She completed a home-staging program at Oak Tree Home Staging in Santa Rosa, California. Louise is a member of the United Stagers Association (USA), National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), and has completed five modules of professional development training in Interior Landscaping through Rentokil Initial.
Louise earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Oregon University in Business and has taken numerous continuing education courses in Feng Shui, leadership, human resources, intercultural communication, project management, and
interior design.
Community involvement is dear to Louise’s heart. She is currently a member of the Portland Kiwanis Club and a Board member and co-chair of the Family Selection Committee of Western Willamette Habitat for Humanity. During her years of living in Tillamook County she served on the Board of Directors of the Tillamook Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development – Revolving Loan Fund Advisory Board, Bay City Councilwoman, Bay City Budget Committee Member, and the Tillamook Kiwanis Club.
